Free CPR/AED Training in Washington DC

DC Be Ready
Free CPR/AED training classes will be offered to people who live, work, or congregate in Washington DC during the entire month of June 2016. Classes will be held at Department of Parks and Recreation facilities in each of the city’s eight wards, from 6-9PM. All classes will be taught by instructors licensed and certified by the American Red Cross.

Everyone who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult CPR/AED that is valid for two years. The course will include information on how to respond to breathing emergencies and cardiac arrest.  Training is offered by Serve DC, the mayor’s volunteer office, as part of the  “DC Be Ready” program.

  • June 13 – Barry Farms Recreation Center (Ward 8)
  • June 15 – Deanwood Recreation Center (Ward 7)
  • June 18 – Banneker Recreation Center (Ward 1) – (Sat – 10-2)
  • June 20 – Chevy Chase Recreation Center (Ward 3)
  • June 21 – Deanwood Recreation Center (Ward 7)

  • June 28 – Green Leaf Recreation Center (Ward 6)
