Their goal is to provide free CPR and AED training to at least 100 people.
According to the program’s web site, “bystander-witnessed cases had a 31.4% survival rate” compared to a “10.6% survival rate” for those who we’re not assisted by a bystander prior to the arrival of emergency services personnel. Tri-Community Ambulance looks to change the outcome for cardiac arrest victims by ensuring that more of the public can provide CPR and AED assistance before emergency personnel arrive.

The classes are free, however you must enroll in advance. Demand for the free classes is expected to be high, so sign up soon to get your choice of day and location.
